the final episode of to honour & obey went live today 🖤 i got this game in the get loud TTRPG bundle earlier this year. glancing at that bundle, i’m seeing both other upcoming games AND upcoming guests so that’s very exciting!!

this series took 15.5 hours to edit. the other games i have in the production pipeline right now are pretty freeform & it was way more of a relief than i expected to work on a game that has very defined sections & turns, so now i know that i should try my best to have a balance between those things as much as possible. every game truly truly does still teach me something new about the best way to make this show without burning myself out

the final episode of the furyya series went live today!! i picked the game up a few months ago because it looked cool as hell, obviously. when its designer, uoshi, got brought on as the layout artist for galactic & going rogue i thought it would be fun to have the series overlap with that crowdfunder!!

this series took 27 hours to edit. it underwent a lot of rearranging because the open-ended nature of the game made it much more of a puzzle to put together than the majority of the other games on the show, which tend to have very deliberate structures. it was super satisfying & i’m pretty happy with how it ended up, though i think i’m going to take a different approach to this type of game in the future so that i don’t end up having to shift chunks around while working to the extent that stuff like this happens, where i accidentally started the third episode with the ending of the second episode,

note: i’m writing this in february 2025 because i didn’t get into the habit of writing wrap-up posts until later in the show & now i love doing them so much that i want to fill in the backlog

the very first series of the podcast featured the game accomplice🖤 it was posted a little bit sooner than i originally expected because i realised that i really wanted it to be out in full by hallowe’en. the three playthroughs were recorded in july & september of 2024, which means it was still weather where i could remember that laptops are like very portable & edit in parks sometimes:
